Health and Safety

When we arrive to work on-site or to collect pieces to return to our workshop we have several requirements:

  • All items should be easily accessible and all contents emptied.
  • We sometimes require water, electricity and heating depending on the nature of the work.
  • The area should be free from children, pets or customers for commercial work.

We are fully insured with Public Liability Insurance and an inspection can be completed prior to any work with a compliant HSE risk assessment if necessary.

COVID REGULATIONS-Domestic Services

Under the current guidance there are several considerations we have to follow. Domestic work is currently being completed in our workshop based in Hamilton. This means that:

We can collect items, restore/repair and then return them. These items being collected must be clean and easily accessible. When collecting, we sanitise, use gloves and wear face coverings.

We appreciate our clients taking the same approach. Alternatively, items can be brought to our workshop on a pre-arranged basis. Larger items, such as sofas, wardrobes and beds, are not practical for removal and repair and can be booked in for when circumstances allow. These items can be discussed more specifically depending on the individual situation.

Commercial Services

We are fortunately able to continue our commercial services as long as the current health and safety regulations are adhered to. Most of this work can be completed, as the premises are empty.
