99% of our business is restoration, recycling and upcycling. This means that we extend the life of items, which might normally go to landfill, when a new item is bought as a replacement.
We estimate that each week, we restore half a ton of furniture, in one year this works out to be almost 20 tons of furniture that might normally be thrown out, or sent to an expensive limited recycling facility.
The minimal waste that we do have is disposed of safely at our workshop. We are a SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) registered business which means that we have a written environmental policy. We are fully behind the protection of the environment and conduct our business with this in mind at all times.
We are increasingly aware of the environmental impact of our activities and Scotland has already begun its journey towards a more sustainable approach to waste and resources.
